Fraud Using a Debit Visa card

This really has happened to me. Someone impersonating me and who had the address that is on my Massachusetts driver's license, used my Visa debit card to order four orders of pornography. This particular company, New Online Help.com, whose Email address you will see herein, refuses to refund the dollar. They told me that it is a "Trial." It is fraud, not a trial. The reason you are seeing this concern is because they refused to refund me one dollar. That was all I asked them to do. They had already refunded $29.87 so $1 would not have killed them to return. You can read here that they could not identify me by my Earthlink Email address, and I do not have an msn.com address. Never have.

Once I had the opportunity to advise my bank of the IP number for the perpetrator of this fraud, I ceased asking this company to refund the dollar, because my bank refunded it to me. I advised them to go after the company to recover it for themself.

You will see that Nicole responded to my plea, but still the dollar is not back in my checking account. Someone needs to get the intermediary company to do this work because far too much time has elapsed since this fraud was perpetuated upon me. It was June 24, 2008 that a man in Texas used my Visa Debit card to defraud me, and June 30, 2008 that I first called your company to report this fraud. Don't think that because I have now heard from a supervisor that I will not hesitate to publish this, because I will if the dollar is not refunded back into my account where it belongs.

The $29.87 was credited to my bank checking account on July 1, 2008 and posted therein on July 7, 2008, but the DOLLAR still is not back yet as of today, August 14, 2008. I just checked it again now a few seconds ago, and it was not there.

Since you have an intermediary company, SIT on them until they get the dollar back to my Visa Debit card which is connected to my Bank of America checking account. Why does it take this much effort to get you people to do something? Only one time in all of these weeks have I heard from someone there at your company. That is shocking that only now you are responding to my pleas for one dollar back in this fraud.

LAST NIGHT, I DECIDED TO MAKE A CALL TO YOUR COMPANY IN HOPE THAT I WOULD BE ABLE TO SPEAK WITH A SUPERVISOR TO CLEAR THIS ENTIRE MATTER UP, BUT WAS UNABLE TO SPEAK WITH A SUPERVISOR. AFTER BEING PLACED ON HOLD FOUR TIMES, THE CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE STATED THAT THEIR COMPUTERS WERE DOWN, AND ASKED ME FOR MY EMAIL ADDRESS, WHICH I GAVE HER AS a@truedemocracy.net SHE ASSURED ME THAT I WOULD BE CONTACTED AT IT AND SHE REPEATED THE ADDRESS BACK TO ME SO THAT I WOULD KNOW THAT SHE HAD HEARD IT CORRECTLY. BUT NO EMAIL ARRIVED AT IT LAST NIGHT OR TODAY.

I DON'T KNOW WHAT KIND OF OPERATION YOU HAVE THERE, BUT IT DOESN'T LOOK VERY HONEST TO ME, AND I DON'T THINK THAT MY SUPPORTERS WILL THINK SO EITHER.

SHE TOOK THE EMAIL ADDRESS THAT THE MAN USED WHEN HE DEFRAUDED ME, WHICH, AGAIN, I WILL GIVE YOU WHICH IS vyki7412@msn.com AND ASK YOU TO AGAIN REFUND THE $1.00 THAT SOMEONE SAID HAD BEEN REFUNDED, BUT THAT NEVER HAS BEEN OR I WOULD HAVE SEEN IT BY NOW ON MY ONLINE BANK STATEMENT THAT I CHECK EVERYDAY BEFORE WRITING YOU HERE.

If you try to send me an Email at the Email address that is in this conversation you won't reach me, because I do not have any msn.com Email address.

Therefore, this was no TRIAL. This was fraud, and if you don't refund my $1, I will publish this for the whole world to read what your company does to people who have been defauded. This man even has my US address in Milton, Massachusetts from my DRIVER'S LICENSE. One of the other companies to whom he ordered this pornographic material told me that information.

One other company resisted refunding me, and I made them aware of what I would do if they didn't. So they changed their minds and refunded me. They told me that they would need to add me to their database of people who are blocked. I told them that was fine, because I do not indulge in this kind of product to begin with. So you may add me to that database too for the same reason.

We caught this fraudulent charge before any major charge was levied. Here is what was charged:

06/26/08 PURCHASE 90630624036575944262401 ON 06/24 AT NEWONLINEHELP.COM 866-588-8303 -$1.00

Please refund it. Please also tell me where the man who made this charge against me was when he made it.

My bank charged a 3 per cent fee because he appeared to have been outside of the US. I also want to have any information you have on him, because I want to have my bank do an investigation of this fraud.

On July 13, 2008, I sent the following Email message to you in which I typed the wrong Email address that the perpetrator gave your company when he ordered the pornography. The correct Email address is vyki7412@msn.com I was so stressed out that I gave you the wrong Email address.

Since the three-digit number that is on the back of every credit card was put there in cases of ordering online, it occurred to me that the company should have asked the purchaser for it, but I doubt that they did or he could not have ordered their product. Do you request the three digit number that is on the back of the credit card when people order your products, or not? If not, which is what I suspect, how can you know that they are the legitimate card holder? This three-digit number was designed to prove identity when ordering things online, so it must be used, because I believe that this was an online order. I certainly did not come into your store to buy this trash, so it had to have been someone who either came into a store where the merchant could see who handed him the card to see that it was not me, as I am a woman, and this was a man who ordered something from you.

I expect the $1 to be refunded. Otherwise, I will make my worldwide community aware of what your company is doing to me.

Editor's note: I was compelled to check the IP number that one of the companies provided to me. It was for a man in Texas. Also, this company that refuses to refund the dollar did charge me $29.87 under a different name, File Service Help, causing me to think that it was a separate company.
