Myth Breakers

Unknown to many people is that the family farm is nearly a thing of the past. These days giant agribusiness is what provides most of the food that westerners eat. The subsidies that congress gives to farmers mostly goes to these giant agribusiness companies which include Archer-Daniels-Midland (ADM), etc.

Animal testing is scientifically inaccurate and morally indefensible according to John Hill, who is a chemist. The REAL reasons why companies test on animals: protection from lawsuits claiming damages from use of their product and FDA mandates that will not allow required studies in humans on new ingredients (and new formulations in some product areas) until tests have been conducted "proving" the safety of the substance on various animal species.
