Did You Know?



In Iraq, under British occupation, a Qur'an hand written by hazrat Ali (r.a.) was burned. The British government paid no attention to this destruction of Islamic heritage. The Sunnis of Al-Amarah have retaliated.

The designation (r.a.) is Arabic for "Allah be pleased with him" and is written after the names of Companions of the Prophet according to Professor Kaukab Siddique, a Muslim scholar.
